The Annual Kent 'Love Music Hate Racism Festival' this Saturday 18th June!
Enjoy a day by the beautiful Ramsgate Harbourside celebrating fantastic live music and a society free of racial discrimination...come boogie and show your support!


Live music from Noon including Congo Natty and the up and coming Kid British rap stars and acoustic champion Henry Johnson. Join us at the main stage by the Casino, music to continue into the evening at the bohemian Belgain Bar. See you there!

Margate Big Event 2011! - Saturday 18th - Sunday 19th June

This year's event by Margate seafront promises two days of thrilling flying extravaganzas from the Vulcan and Red Arrows display team! Other guests include the Tornado G4 bombers, the Battle of Britain memorial flight and the terrific Tigers, who will be dramatically parachuting into the sea off Margate Main Sands!
Live music, fairground, food and a firework finale on Saturday evening make this event the perfect weekend treat for family and big kids alike!

Saturday 16th April : Turn to Turner!
Margate’s new Turner Contemporary Gallery, designed by the internationally acclaimed architect David Chipperfield is set to open its doors to the public this weekend!
The £17.5m gallery will provide one of the most compelling cultural and tourist destinations outside of London and is the driving force behind the current and future regeneration of Margate.

Speeches at 9.30am with doors opening from 10am - Midnight.
Art Performances throughout the day and Live music from 8pm.

Enjoy a memorable Easter this year at the fabulously traditional Quex Easter Event at the Powell-Cotton Museum in Quex, Birchington!
Fri: Painting Easter Eggs, Cravat and Bow tie making, Falconry Displays
Sat: Painting Easter Eggs, making Lino-print Easter Cards, Militant maids causing mischief!
Sun: Painting Easter Eggs, Hobby horse, Frog racing, Optional Carriage ride, Dressing of a Victorian bride
Each day visitors can take a guided Quex Victorian theme tour from 2.30pm with optional afternoon tea afterwards, and have a chance to meet Queen Victoria herself, so do bring a camera for the occasion!

Fri 22- Sat 23 April: The Easter Beer Festival 11'
The Planet Thanet Easter Beer Festival 2011 promises to be bigger and better than ever, with over 200 different draught real ales and around 60 ciders and perries on offer! There will also be an interesting selection of foreign beers and wines available so come down, enjoy and if you need an excuse it is to support the Campaign for Real Ale (CAMRA)!

This gorgeous harbour front bar will be displaying all its partiotic colours for Will & Kate's Big Day with fabulous food, music and wide screen TVs especially for the occasion.
So come and soak up the sun and regal romance in Ramsgate this bank holiday weekend!

The Thorley Taverns Beer Festival

Just a short round up of up coming events!
This years Thorley Taverns Beer Festival takes place from Friday 25th March until Sunday 27th March at The Pavilion in Broadstairs.

There’s live music from Hullabaloo, Hot Rats, Broken Biscuit and Free Wired Session across the weekend and Myma Seldon will broadcast her Daytime show live from The Pavilion on Friday 25th March!

If you want to go to the festival, wristbands cost £2 and will give you entry for the whole weekend!
